Solar PV was popularised over 15 years ago because of the FEED IN TARIFFS paid to home owners for each kilowatt of unused energy uploaded to the National Grid. Although FITs are no longer available for new installations. . . thanks to huge improvements in the underlying technology, solar PV now represents an even more powerful hedge against rocketing electricity prices!
