Although these 'Feed in Tariffs' are no longer available for new installs, a new scheme called the SMART EXPORT GUARANTEE allows you to sell excess electricity directly back to your energy supplier!

You have the option to increase the generating capacity of your current system by adding more PV panels.  Due to your old panels' loss of efficiency since they were originally installed, you may find that there is spare capacity that you can capitalise upon!

Extra panels can be mounted adjacent to those already in place or, because blue skies are not required and they no longer need to be South facing, can be located elsewhere. . .  even on the reverse of the same roof.

Note:  You will probably also need to upgrade your existing INVERTER to handle the extra power generation.

Alternately, you can install a completely separate, parallel, system with its own Inverter.
