The BUS is a government funded program that provides a grant of up to £9,000 to help homeowners in Devon replace inefficient fossil fuel heating systems with low-carbon alternatives. . . including heat pumps.
Extended under the Warm Homes scheme, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme will now remain active until at least 2030.
BONUS: Qualifying for the Boiler Upgrade SchemeTo qualify for a Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, you'll only need to meet three simple criteria:
- You must own the property (either as your main home or a second property ).
- You must be replacing an existing gas, oil, electric or LPG heating system.
- Your property must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
